Resources that support hope.

Below is a list of resources we have found helpful for cancer patients and those that support them through their diagnosis. We’re always looking for great resources to add to our list, so check back often for new connections!

  • Cancer Services of Northeastern Indiana - Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana is a local non-profit helping people with cancer since 1944. We serve Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Noble, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley counties.

  • Vera Bradley Breast Cancer Foundation - Vera Bradley Co-founders Barbara Bradley Baekgaard and Patricia R. Miller began raising funds for breast cancer research in 1993 after the loss of their dear friend, Mary Sloan. Since then, their genuine commitment to this cause has evolved into the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.

  • Bloom Hormone Health - Bloom Hormone Health is led by Dr. Leigh Bauer who has been doing hormone replacement since 2016. She is certified with the Hormone Health Institute and is a member of the North American Menopause Society.

  • Know Your Lemons - The Know Your Lemons Foundation’s mission is to improve early detection of breast cancer worldwide through creative and empowering education.

  • Healing and Dealing Podcast-Survivorship - Funny, unfiltered and informational musings from two best friends, therapists, and cancer survivors.

  • Metavivor- Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer - METAvivor is dedicated to the specific fight of women and men living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. At the time of METAvivor’s founding, no organization was dedicated to funding research for the disease and no patient groups were speaking out about the dearth of stage 4 cancer research.  While more and more people have taken up the cry for more stage 4 research, METAvivor remains the sole US organization dedicated to awarding annual stage 4 breast cancer research.
