Pinch of Pink 2023
If you build it, they will come. In 2023 just shy of 1 year in operation, Pinch of Pink was a smashing success in all shades of pink. The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar was the backdrop to 340 guests ready to hear about our mission at Breastie Boxes: To bring comfort, hope, confidence, and joy through a pretty pink package.
Think fall pink hand painted pumpkins, a vintage farm truck, and then walk in to a beautiful event space with assorted local restaurants delivering delectable food, hip music by Casual Friday, over 70 silent auction items, hands-on stations to either pull a bottle of wine, pop a balloon for a prize, or best yet…pack over 100 Breastie Boxes.
No detail was left behind along with a magnetic and energetic vibe flowing through the room. We wanted to change the way people did fundraising events; where giving and serving is fun, and helping our local community of breast cancer patients is top notch.
By the end of the night after a fund the need and live auction hosted by Jerry Ehle, we were overwhelmed by over $122,000 being raised to continue our outreach at Breastie Boxes. It was a magical evening.
